“The future is not a place to which we are going, it is a place we are creating. The paths to the future are not found, but made, and the activity of making them changes both the maker and the destination.” – John Schaar
It’s two years since I posted the first blog in August 2014, from my hotel room on a visit to New York.
So much kicked off from there and today, as I write the closing blog under manifestmylife, there is much to reflect on. Many of you enjoyed the John Schaar quote when it appeared in “Desire. Seed of Creation.” and I’m including it again, relevant as ever!
Thank you for reading and following me here, it’s a joy to write and connect with you. You’ve shared the big and the small, including the move from Sydney to Yorkshire. Certainly the activities are changing this maker and the destination. And some of those activities have required me to spend time unpacking and repacking what I know, what I love, to move forward.
I’ve co-founded a new venture with Neil, husband and now business partner. It’s exciting to combine, and not without opportunities for growth! A creative mixing of talents, experience, knowledge, insights with shared vision and values to deliver something that is greater than the sum of the parts!
Welcome to The Soft Road. A platform for personal and cultural transformation. An experience of life that unwinds stress, unlocks creativity, cultivates intuition and builds resilience.
The Soft Road offers a combination of masterful teaching – speaking, writing, coaching, consulting, tools and techniques; and a modern context for meditation, leveraging and applying the benefits of a daily practice.
Whilst we are based in Yorkshire, this is an international business. We travel regularly and online content is also coming soon.
Check out the splash pages at www.thesoftroad.com our full website isn’t far away and a regular blog will recommence, alongside other online tools and content. We’d love you to come with us and we’ll include you on the mailing list unless you let us know otherwise.
We’re already active on Instagram (the_soft_road) and Twitter (@thesoftroad) and with a company page on LinkedIn – it would mean a lot to me if you become a follower of The Soft Road.
With love and gratitude for all the support and encouragement I’ve received this far.
